Reiki and other related energy therapies focus on health for the whole person; integrating mind, body and spirit. Through a graduated level of classes, Reiki understanding is gained to the highest level; that of a Reiki Master. In class students learn about the history of these ancient therapies, the seven major chakras and their relationship to health, centering and grounding techniques, simple healing treatments for one's self and others, distance healing, and techniques to heighten one's personal energy. These therapies do not replace traditional medicine, but instead incorporate complimentary practices for optimal wellness.
